Joseph Wilson is a distinguished triallawyer and entrepreneur who has made significant contributions to both thelegal field and his community. Born and raised in Atlanta,Georgia, Joseph has built a formidable reputation, recovering millionsof dollars in verdicts and settlements for his clients. His leadership andservice have been recognized through numerous awards, including being named aSuper Lawyers Rising Star in 2020 and receiving the Outstanding Atlanta awardthe same year.

A pivotal figure in communitymentorship, Joseph serves as Vice-President of the Emerging 100 ofAtlanta. The Emerging 100® program, an initiative by 100 Black Men chapters,provides one-on-one and group mentoring to young professionals post-college.This program extends The 100’s philosophy of Mentoring The 100 Way® Across aLifetime, supporting the social, emotional, and educational development ofyouth in need of positive role models. Joseph’s involvement underscoreshis dedication to empowering the next generation of leaders.

Hegraduated from Washington University School of Law, ranked among the top 20 lawschools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report, and received theprestigious John W. Calhoun Trial Practice award for his excellence in trialadvocacy. His professional achievements have been recognized by the NationalTrial Lawyers, which named him one of the top 40 lawyers under the age of 40.Additionally, the Atlanta Business Chronicle featured him in their “Who’s Who”30 under 30 edition.

In his professionalcapacity, Joseph is a dedicated speaker and educator. He haspresented at notable events such as the Kentucky Justice Association 2024 AutoSummit and the County Trial Lawyers CLE, where he shared his expertise onmaximizing damages in auto cases and effective opening statements.

Beyond his practice, Joseph is afounder and active participant in several initiatives aimed at developingfuture legal talent and supporting his community. He founded the Trial By HumanMentor Academy, an innovative program that helps young lawyers becomeexceptional trial attorneys through mentor training and practical trial skillswork. Josephis also the founder of The Justice Journal, a newsletter thatdisseminates legal insights and developments to a wider audience. 

Joseph’s philanthropic efforts includeestablishing the TL4JGA Scholarship, awarded annually to a minority studentattending John Marshall Law School. His dedication to giving back is alsoreflected in his active participation on the JSU Alumni Board Association, theBoard for the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA) NLD Division, and hisinvolvement with the GTLA LEAD program, which trains top trial lawyers inGeorgia. He also serves on the Boards of the Atlanta Bar Association, GTLA, and100 Black Men of Atlanta, where he acts as Parliamentarian.
